Alouette Tool will be the exclusive USA agent for W & F Werkzeugtechnik of Grobbettlingen Germany on their patented Modular line of Swiss Live Tool Holders.

W&F a leader in driven live tooling for Milling and Turning Center machines (such as Mori Seiki, Okuma, HAAS and Mazak) has incorporated their modular system into a new line for Swiss Style Turning Machines.

W&F's patented modular clamping system affords great flexibility and versatility to the end user. W & F's line of live tool holders for Swiss Machines come with a quick change modular chuck at the out-put of the tool holders. With this system it is possible to inter-change 60+ cutting tool adaptors within the same quick change chuck. No longer is it necessary to purchase separate live tool holders for ER type collet holders, milling/saw arbors, tap holders etc.

W&F offers quick change adaptors for their live tool holders such as ER-8, ER-11, ER-16, ER-20, ER-25, and Milling/Saw Arbors for 5mm, 8mm and 10mm I.D. Saws. Also offered are Tapping Holders, Weldon chucks, Whistle Notch and Shrink fit holders. This modular design results in great savings in Live Tool Holder costs while bringing versatility and flexibility to a single live tool holder.

As of May 09 W&F offers the complete program of live tool holders for Tornos Deco machines as well as Citizen/Cincom Machines. Under development is the program for Star machines coming in Sept. 09 as well as Hanwah machines in early 2010.
